Events
Set just under nine miles from the heart of Boston, our estate is the ideal country-in-the-city setting for your private or social event. The Mansion sits on seven lush, landscaped acres, including a beautiful grape arbor that makes a stunning backdrop for on site wedding ceremonies. We host events year-round inside the Mansion itself, and venue rentals from May through October include the use of a 40' by 80' fabric-lined tent over brick pavers with general illumination.

Weddings/Social Events
The Commander's Mansion accommodates up to 200 guests. With a 9-hour rental, you are guaranteed exclusive use of the mansion's first and second floors, lawns, and veranda, except the events team's offices. The Mansion also provides ample parking and free WIFI to its guests. There are 5 gender-neutral bathrooms, 3 on the first and 2 on the second floors. We recommend that the second floor be reserved for the Wedding Party. The Talcott and Rodman Suites are both attached to separate bathrooms and make for the perfect place for a couple to get ready. The Parlor on the first floor accommodates a large group, of 40-80 guests depending on the setup of the room, and there are an additional 7 rooms throughout the house that may be used as you please (though there are only two additional rooms besides the parlor on the first floor). From November 1 -April 30th the parlor would be the recommended space for a ceremony or reception as the tent is taken down in the winter. During Peak season, from May 1st to October 31st, the 40ft by 80ft tent is a beautiful space often used for the reception, though it can also function as a space for the ceremony if needed. Before the event, the Mansion will offer you full use of all indoor inventory, including tables, chairs, linens, easels, T.V., and a podium. The rental is a 9-hour minimum. Additional time may be arranged at a rate of $500 per hour and the event must end no later than midnight.
Corporate Events
The Commander's Mansion accommodates up to 200 guests. The Mansion also provides ample parking and free WIFI to its guests. There are 5 gender-neutral bathrooms, 3 on the first and 2 on the second floors. The Parlor on the first floor accommodates a large group, of 40-80 guests depending on the setup of the room, and there are an additional 7 rooms that may be used as breakout spaces for workspace or dining. Before the event, the Mansion will offer you full use of all indoor inventory, including tables, chairs, linens, easels, T.V., and a podium. You may also upgrade to use the 40ft by 80ft tent available May through October. The rental is a 4-hour minimum.
Studio Rentals
For a filming studio rental, the Commander's Mansion offers full use of the house and the grounds, including all bathrooms and indoor use of tables and chairs. The tent may be rented in addition to the basic rental fee. It is $1,700 for a 9-hour rental window. Additional hours can be scheduled at a rate of %500 per hour.
For a photoshoot rental, you may have outdoor access to the property by appointment only. $100 per hour.
