Sunday, December 1: The Merry Mingle Let's gather together to celebrate the holidays!

The Merry Mingle is scheduled for Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 4-8pm at the Commander's Mansion (440 Talcott Avenue in Watertown).

Formerly the Whoville Jubilee, this event will feature many of the same beloved traditions while also being expanded to celebrate the diversity of our community!
 

Outdoors:

• Toy Chest Drive for the Whooley Foundation with Watertown Veterans' Services - guests will be given a raffle ticket for each toy donated for a chance to be the Official Cheermeister and light the Christmas Tree at 7pm.

• Meet and greet with Whoville characters and displays on the North Lawn

• Train rides along our circular driveway sponsored by Watertown Savings Bank

• Winter Wonderland (artificial snowball fight and foam) with Watertown Recreation

• Holiday Bazaar (vendors will be announced soon) and live entertainment, featuring the WPS All City Chorus and other performances, in our large reception tent

• Hot chocolate and treats for purchase at the Jingle Cafe from Joe's Variety

Indoors:

• Winter Holidays Around the World showcase grant funded by the Mass Cultural Council

• Storytime with Watertown Free Public Library

• "River of Light" craft with Watertown Public Arts & Culture Committee sponsored by the Mosesian Center for the Arts and Watertown Cultural Council

• Santa's Village guest experience on the second floor - tickets for this portion of the event must be purchased in advance at merrymingle.planningpod.com

• Gingerbread craft prepared by Arlene Smith

• DJ Ryan Murphy set up outside on the veranda
